Very, very ugly shoes

When I first saw that photo, I thought: why would someone in their right mind design a shoe like that? Did Nicky find this in her mother's closet, filled with things from the hallucinogenic 70s?

But then I found out that people I believed had impeccable taste could do wrong too: style.com sports Candy's A list accessories report, where under New York you can find Donna Karan - Plastic Saskia slingback with jet-black Swarovski crystals.

Candy Pratts Price, is it only me or is Donna Karan loosing it?

It's not only the big designer names; you can find clear plastic shoes everywhere.

Is this becoming a trend? If so, I don't want anything to do with it.
